Returns & Refunds

We hope you don’t need this page…

However, we understand that delivery drivers can be heavy-handed and hiccups do happen. After all, we’re ordinary people just like you are. Maybe you’ve changed your mind, that’s fine, we all have second thoughts from time to time. So we know where we both stand and what you should expect, our 14 day return and refund policy is here for peace of mind.

 

Changed your mind?

We pride ourselves on the images of our products which are taken by ourselves. We don’t want returns, so we try our absolute
best to make sure the pictures you’re seeing are a true and exact likeness of what you’re going to receive. Sometimes though, things just don’t fit what you had intended them for. 

 

Please email duckythings@berrettsfarm.com
including your order number and items you wish to return. This must be done within 14 days of receiving your order. You don’t need to provide a reason, but it is handy to know if there is something we can improve on.

 

After emailing, please post your items back to Returns at DT, 47 Northcroft, Henfield, West Sussex, BN5 9QB. Everything must be in its original condition & packaging with any labels or tags still attached. Returns that don’t meet this criteria will not be accepted. Please include a note with your order number so we know who to refund. This must
be done within 14 days of you notifying us via email requesting a refund.

 

Return postage is paid for by you. It is your responsibility to ensure your return reaches us and the items in resaleable condition. Proof of postage is not proof of delivery. Please consider this when choosing
your postage method. We recommend using a tracked service.

 

Once we’ve received, inspected and accepted your return we’ll fully refund your order including original outward postage cost via the method you paid with. This can take 5-10 working days to show in your bank account. 

 

Faulty, broken?

Ergh, this is frustrating. Especially when we take such care inspecting every item before posting, meticulously package everything to ensure it reaches you functional and in one piece just for the delivery driver to lob it over a fence. INFURIATING! Oh well, these things happen.

 

As soon as you receive your things, report any damage right away! Send an email to duckythings@berrettsfarm.com. Make sure to include your order number, description of damage and photo evidence. Please include photos of the packaging too.

 

We’ll be in contact about the next steps. We’ll either replace or refund the item. In some cases, at our discretion, if the item is easily repairable, we may offer you a partial refund to keep the item and repair it yourself. You do not have to accept this and we will still refund or replace the item if you prefer. If we require the item back, we’ll cover the postage cost and provide you a label to send it back. 

 

Bought an imperfect or second rated item?

Just because something doesn’t fit the use it was intended for or has a blemish doesn’t mean it doesn’t have another use. These items have faults or imperfections of some kind and we sell them at reduced rates. 

 

These items are clearly marked IMPERFECT or SECOND in their title and the description will clearly describe and explain what faults and imperfections the items have.

 

These items are non-refundable and non-returnable. These items were sold with full explanation provided of their condition. If one of these items arrives damaged beyond what was described (e.g. you purchased an IMPERFECT ceramic pot with an obvious glazing imperfection, but it arrived smashed), we would follow our policy on faulty items as laid out above.
